"Avery Baby" was born the end of June. (Ellie gave her the cute nick name of "Avery Baby".) While we were waiting at the hospital to get to see Avery (and Amy and Justin), JoyAnne got a phone call from Alana (who is 9). Alana asked JoyAnne if she was ready. JoyAnne asked "ready for what?". So Alana said "for the baby!!" JoyAnne informed Alana that Avery had arrived and that she was actually at the hospital waiting to see her. Alana then corrected JoyAnne and told her she was not calling about her new baby cousin Avery... Alana had been calling JoyAnne because that very night the baby on "Good Luck Charlie" was being born! We all had a good laugh that the TV baby was more exciting than her real-life cousin baby. (Pretty sure now that Alana has seen Avery she is more excited about Avery than the "Good Luck Charlie" baby.)
Amy and Justin... don't they look GIDDY?!! Can you believe Amy looks this GREAT after 2 hours of pushing (and her 12 hours of labor... I think it was 12 hours...)?! (Amy is making sure to stay VERY modest... hence the mummy attire.)
Avery Baby with her mouth open... she kept sticking her tongue out... reminded me of Amy's hospital picture as a baby... she had her hands up by her ears and her tongue out, almost as if to say "nanny nanny boo boo".
Avery's big eyes... so cute. When we got into the hospital room and got to see her for the first time she was WIDE awake just STARING. She was super good, no crying, just staring.
I thought this was a cute pic of my dad holding Avery. Avery is now about 1 1/2 weeks old and looks just like Justin! Guess we now know exactly what Justin would look like if he were a girl. Amy and Justin are loving their cute little prize and can't stop looking at her and talking about her and holding her. She is pretty stinking cute and we're so glad she is finally here!
