The beginning of January Brent was lucky enough to get to go to NYC with some of his good friends in the Architecture program. Brent's final semester project is designing some campus housing at Princeton University. Brent's teacher is actually working on this project with his company right now and was able to pull some strings to give Brent and his class a tour and talk to them about the design they are working on. Since Princeton is super close to NYC Brent and his friends arranged to stay an extra day in NYC to get to walk around and see the sights... AND THE BUILDINGS! When they originally called to re-book their flight to stay an extra day in New York they were going to be charged a big fee... but they were really lucky to have their flight delayed (due to the big snowstorms back East) and were then able to work things out so they could change their flight to stay the extra day in NYC for free (besides booking a hotel for an extra night)! Must have been destiny for them to spend extra time in New York!

These are some of the awesome buildings Brent took pictures of in NYC. It was fun to hear Brent's stories of all the buildings and get to see what buildings he found fascinating.

Matt, Brent, and Chris... this is how they would look if they were to each gain a few hundred pounds. Its nice an ice cream parlor had this in their dining area... it really helps you see how WORTH IT it is to eat ice cream and gain a few million pounds!! They look pretty cute being chubby huh? Guess they don't need to hold back on eating ice cream!

....And this is Brent's FAVORITE part of his trip.... a ONE POUND Reeces Candy Bar!!! (This picture is only HALF of the one pound!! Back in December Brent heard an ad on the radio advertising ONE POUND Reeces. As you can imagine he engaged on a quest to find this one pound of chocolate and peanut butter!! He searched and searched and wasn't able to find one before they were sold out. Lucky for Brent he happened upon a Reeces store in NYC and found his beloved humungo Reeces Bar!

What a great opportunity! Looks like he had a great time. My kids would love a 1 pound peanut butter cup, but only if was the kind Julie makes. Those are their favorites.
WOW that is a GINORMOUS Reeses! Did he eat it all in one sitting? That would be some talent. We should open a resturant that serves 1/4 pound and 1/2 pound cancy bars instead of hamburgers :)NYC how cool!
Wow, I just went onto your old blog to catch up on what's been going on, and then I realized that that's not your blog anymore and that I've missed out on a year of your life! I'm glad I can finally get caught up! That peanut butter cup is CRAZY!
