4th Month Birthday

Zeke is already FOUR months old!!!  (Actually, we have been having so much fun that he is FIVE months by the time I will post this!)  We are loving watching him grow and seeing him learn new things!  He is just getting more and more fun!

 

Zeke had a lot of FIRSTS this month:

• First mosquito bite (right on the very tip of his nose!)
• Caught his first cold (from Mom)
• Slept through the night (until 5am) for the first time... and actually the ONLY time
• Got in his first car "accident" (someone bumped into the back of our car as we were stopped on an off-ramp from the freeway... and then they drove away!  Luckily it was just a little bump so it just left a little mark on the bumper.  I was super glad Zeke was ok in the back seat!)
• He also started eating every FOUR hours... that has been life changing for both of us!  (Before 3 1/2 months he was eating every two hours on the dot... even at night... so every FOUR hours is like paradise!)

Zeke now LOVES to sit (with one of us holding him) or to stand up and JUMP... he also like to bend way, way, way over while standing and look at the floor or his feet!

He can grab his toes and especially loves grabbing them when his socks are off.

He learned to squeal and scream and loves to hear himself making these noises... loudly.

He loves, loves, loves fruit snack wrappers... he goes CRAZY anytime he hears the sound of a wrapper!

He loves to kick things... especially his diaper when we change him.

His FAVORITE toy this month is probably the Baby Bjorn.  We borrowed Sarah's and he LOVES to ride around in it!  Seriously this kid could ride around in it all day long!  He just kicks and talks and drools as he rides around!

Zeke was a little Minion for Halloween.  I made him a little minion hat... probably should have done the little ear ties a different color cause he kind of looks like Goldilocks... oh well, he looked super cute in the hat!

I started introducing Zeke to the Johnny Jumper this month... took a few tries before he fell in love with it but now he LOVES it!

This is often how I'll find him after a nap... once he wakes up he loves to talk and yell and play with his Binky!  I love the surprised look on his face in this picture.

Zeke had his first mosquito bite... right on the end of his nose!  It was bright red for a couple days.

Pretty sure he is planning to grow up and be Superman!  He is mastering the flying position!

Zeke is the master of efficiency... he will play with his toys until he can get them in (or around his mouth) and then leave them there so his hands are free to play with other things.
